30-Day Video Sadhana

From Wellness to Liberation

Thirty days of asana that quietly gives way to breath, and breath that quietly gives way to a question about who's breathing. Physiology on one side, twenty-five centuries of Indian and Himalayan thought on the other. Test each claim against your own experience.

Two minutes with Amman

Who this month is for, and what it asks of you, in his own words, before you decide anything.

The Practice

A structure for thirty days of returning: to the body first, because the body is where most of us can actually begin, and then further in, because the body was always pointing further in.

Each session builds on what came before, but nothing here is graded or timed. You move through it the way you'd move through a practice: at your own pace, on your own days, as many times as you need to.

The Shape Of It

Five weeks, one arc

  1. 01

    Foundations of Movement

Warm-ups, standing, prone, seated, and supine asana, paired with a first framework for why the mind is restless at all. Closes with a check on what you've actually understood.

  2. 02

    Sequences in Every Direction

Every direction the spine can move: lengthened, bent sideways, arched back, twisted, folded forward. Each paired with a different way of relating to another person, and to yourself.

  3. 03

    Restoration and Breath

Rest, and the first real pranayama, paced by six qualities of conduct rather than by strength or flexibility.

  4. 04

    Rising Into Breath

Breath retention, met without panic. A direct, physiological lesson in discernment.

  5. 05

    Pranayama Emphasis

Breath alone, refined toward stillness, closing on a single teaching about the raft you no longer need to carry.

Inside The Practice

"Teachings drawn from that broader current of Indian and Himalayan thought, presented here as practical psychology rather than religious instruction."

Day 1

"It reads less like religious doctrine and more like an early, unusually complete framework for behaviour change, one that modern therapy still echoes in fragments."

Day 8

"Every technique practised this month has functioned as exactly that kind of raft. Feel your own pulse today and notice it needed none of it to keep going."
